See Me for Who I am. | 2022

This project was created to help me expand myself as a photographer and create a story of how I am seeing myself grow daily as a person. I was influenced by the feelings felt through the work of Carrie Mae Weems and Roy DeCarava,I wanted to understand the way they told their stories. Dealing with common things like heartbreak there was months of a void. Not understanding who I was because I was entangled in being in a relationship, I forgot who I was. This project helped me find my light again.
